Chapter 1

Here out in Seattle, it's not the driest place around, but it has this nice comfort to it. All the rain gives the place a sort of cold and grey hue. There's the fog that constantly engulfs anyone who has the willingness to tread it out.
Then we have the forest. The forest smells of evergreen and morning dew. It looks as if it was set apart from the world as we know. It seems as if it has preserved that long lost prosperity of natural growth. Not touched by the modern glove. I really enjoy being in the forest.
When I go out into the forest, I always feel at peace. Like that I was meant to be there.

                              ---

Back before the move, when I lived in Arkansas, I always felt I was missing something. Something, that I couldn't find in Arkansas. I always felt a pull to somewhere else. It wasn't a direct notion, I just knew I wasn't meant to stay there. I knew there were better places out there for me.
Although, I had to leave my friends, my school, and my family. All in all, I wasn't all that distraught about my move to Seattle.
When we moved me and my mom drove there.. I had no idea in the slightest, why she wanted to drive that far. So the worst part about my whole move, was probably the drive there. It was unpleasant, and boring. My butt was hurting within the first two hours of the drive. All I had to keep me company was my iPod and my annoying little sister. So for majority of my trip I was half asleep listening to music. I was half asleep was because my termite of a sister would not stop tapping me and kicking the back of my chair.
I'm still confused to this day why my mother had another child. Most people want siblings, I never did.
I'm about 17 and a half right now. My little sister was born when I was 13. So that makes her about 4 years old. She has put through 4 years of pure torture... She is always getting the attention! Margaret this, Margaret that, blah blah blah..
By the way, I'm James, I forgot to mention my name..
As I was saying earlier, I'm kind of glad I moved to Seattle! We have lived in Seattle for about 2 months now, and I have noticed a huge spike in my all around happiness. I have found my niche, I'm finally fitting in! It seems like my life is like this huge puzzle, I have just found that missing piece.
Well, one day when I was walking through the forest, I felt like I was being pulled somewhere. As if, there was a huge magnet pulling me in. So, I'm walking and walking and walking, then I notice this little cave that leads into the ground. I went ahead and entered the cave. I almost slipped at first, the rocks near the entrance were very moist. I kept going into it, deeper and deeper into the cave. I noticed throughout my trek through the cave, that there was little bits of what looked like metal shrapnel.
This cave was huge, at this point I was about 200ft into the cave when I saw a slight glow. The glow shuddered, and flickered, I had find out what this was.
